NextLife
This version includes an afterlife plan – a plan that gives you a refund when returning the product to us for upcycling. In the end, only the tiniest fittings of this jacket will ever go to waste.
At the end of its service life, it will be upcycled into hats, bags, and spare parts.
The New Pocket Design:
Two water-resistant chest pockets are positioned for easy access.
The new YKK® AquaGuard zippers run more smoothly, making them easier to open and close.
Part of the new design includes the potential integration of our WizTool magnets and/or pin-on reel. This addition allows you to customize how your favorite tool(s) fit and work with the jacket.
The new design also enables top-loading of the pocket, which can be a significant advantage when preparing the pockets for tools and similar items.
The left chest pocket includes an integrated, highly elasticated mesh pocket. The back pocket can now be buttoned into the shell fabric, creating a more streamlined design when not in use.
Pockets and features:
- Chest pockets with YKK® AquaGuard® zipper. Inside the pocket you will find a hypalon fitting where you can mount your favorite tools with our magnets and/or pin-on-reel. Alignment of expectations: Watertight if zipped securely and not submerged. Despite the watertight design we recommend not to consider the pockets as waterproof storage. The pocket lining is partly waterproof meaning that it will not drain. Expect condensation. Further protect your phone/electronics.
- Left pocket is fitted with a built in expandable mesh pocket.
- Inner napoleon pocket with YKK® zipper.
- Elasticated mesh inner pocket. Perfect storing for an extra tackle box or accessories.
- D-ring.
- Hypalon fitting for attaching accessories outside the jacket.
- The hood is conveniently separated from the collar and can be adjusted in circumference/visibility and depth. The hood has a shade and can be packed away.
- Hypalon sleeve closure with original Velcro® closure.
- Lycra half glove can be used in three different ways: 1: As a half glove. 2: As a wrist warmer. 3. Stored away completely.
- Spacious back pocket. Can be buttoned into the shell fabric, creating a more streamlined design when not in use.
The essential of waterproof happiness:
Think of the Dozer jacket like a house. Without a solid foundation, nothing works as it should. Your comfort starts from the inside - and that part is your job.
Whatever comes from the outside — rain, snow, waves, or harsh winds - Dozer will shield you.
The partnership is simple: you wear a sweat-wicking base layer, and Dozer does the rest.
When the temperature drops or your activity changes, add a mid-layer, preferably wool or a wool blend, to keep the balance just right.
How does Dozer7 protect you?
The Dozer7 waterproof fabric consists of three parts:
1. Water repellency (DWR) - a chemical treatment that makes water bead up. We treat the threads before the fabric is woven. This creates a strong, long-lasting effect.
2. Shell. Woven fabric – a strong Taslan woven polyamide material. The fabric is laminated with a breathable, waterproof membrane.
3. Membrane – keeps rain out while allowing moisture to escape. The membrane has microscopic pores: small enough to keep raindrops out, but large enough to let moisture escape.
What makes the inside so important?
Inside, the new Dozer lining captures moisture as vapor and moves it out through the membrane. Mesh panels boost airflow, working like small pumps to stop damp from turning into drops (because the membrane can only move vapor, never liquid).
Put on a sweat-wicking shirt as mentioned above, and what seems complicated suddenly feels effortless.
The jacket takes over - keeping you dry, comfortable.
Layer it right with wool or a wool blend like WizWool, and you’ll be ready for anything - maybe even singing in the rain.
